Hand-colored engraving on silk, with edging in silver thread. 40 cm wide x 43 cm high.


Description

Above architectural columns surmounted by allegorical figures of Fortitude and Prudence, there are clouds  with the sun and moon and a banner inscribed...... Central motif is a square and compass with underneath a checkered pavement with a widow and three childeren.
