Description
This is a miniature replica of a masonic throne, sold at Bonhams, Leeds on 12th June 2002 (lot 488). See photo below. The inscription on the back of the original chair reads: “This chair is made of the old oak and bell metal of York Minster destroyed by fire May 20th 1840”.
