Earthenware. 13,5 cm (base); 22,5 cm (hight)
Description
On one side: Masonic transfer printed in black from wood block embellished in enamel colouring. Temple between two pillars surmounted by globes, flanked by female figures of the four Cardinal Virtues, and the verse “The World is in pain...” in a reserved panel. All within an oval frame with Masonic emblems outside forming a rectangular design. On the other side: “East view of the Iron Bridge over the Wear. (...) Sept. 24 1793.”
